Meeting Room

We are an alcohol, smoke and vape free venue, and cannot accommodate hires past 9pm.

The centre was originally a children's library up until 2014. The combination of efforts from the local community and the Spreydon-Cashmere-Heathcote Community Board saw the centre become a community facility from 2017 and renovated to be a refurbished facility in 2023.

It is a perfect size for children's birthday parties, meetings, educational and craft activities, direct sales parties, small dance or exercise groups, catered functions and social get-togethers.

The meeting room is a single open plan room of 53 sq m, approximately the size of a standard classroom. In addition to the meeting area, there is small kitchenette (sink, mini fridge and kettle only - no oven or microwave), a single accessible toilet and cleaning supplies area. We also have a heat pump. We provide a small selection of glasses, mugs, cutlery and plates, as well as some cleaning supplies.

The meeting room has enough seating for 30 people.  There are 8-9 foldable tables as well as 40+ chairs kept in a cupboard at the back of the space. There is a front counter which can be used for serving refreshments or presenting products.
